Thank you so much Martin! These Gompas were dotted along the trail/roads in the upper section of the trek where we were. Some of them looked quite old but I didn’t see any Ashoka references that I am aware. My grasp of Devanagari has slipped over the years. 😄

Dawn these images are simply exquisite , the Stupas must be remarkable, any signs of Ashoka edicts ? This is wonderful to follow!
